The noble materials of festive clothing

Imperial

Fête Impériale is an eco-responsible brand that values quality over quantity. This obviously includes the choice of materials used for our clothes. We are convinced that in order to consume less but better, it is important to create quality pieces, made according to precise and rigorous local know-how .This is to create clothes that last, in the best possible conditions for the respect of the planet .The use of noble materials allows a more thoughtful fashion, from creation to purchase. We produce fewer pieces and our quantities are limited toavoid overproduction and overconsumption. This allows us tocarefully select our producers and collaborators, in order to obtain the best materials for our clothes and fabrics created and woven under ethical human and environmental conditions.

What is a noble material?

We often differentiate between noble and synthetic materials because noble materials are made from vegetable, animal or natural fibres. Not only arethey of higher quality than the majority of synthetic materials (often of petroleum origin) and have much better properties (against heat and cold, for example), but their manufacture is often more respectful of the environment .

the environment. And at Fête Impériale, environmental values (manufacturing, short circuits...) and ethical values (transparency regarding ourlocal know-how, social commitment...) are extremely important - so it isnatural for us to use noble materials in the manufacture of our clothes.

The materials of the clothes Fête Impériale

Many of Fête Impériale 's garments are made with noble materials and local craftsmanship. Throughout our different collections, our pieces have always been made of materials that respect theenvironment and human work .For example, our shirts are made of silk, Cotton ... Among our dresses, you will find silk chiffon, silk satin, 100% silk or Linen .As for our vests, they are made of wool, merino wool , cashmere... Discover also our emblematic vest Leontia Angora, handmade in collaboration with the label Angora de France.

Noble materials = reasonable quantities

Eco-responsible materials" means "limited quantities". Indeed, the use of noble and responsible materials implies a reasoned production .First of all, Fête Impériale relies on experts with precise know-how and local craftsmen, and it is often not possible to produce huge quantities with the speed of large production factories . Moreover, these materials can be quite expensive to produce (silk, angora wool, Linen ...) and it is therefore not possible to produce hundreds of pieces. Finally, producing in large quantities is not in line with the values of the brand, and it seems coherent to us to release our collections in limited quantities.

A unique know-how

To ensure that our customers receive quality garments that are also environmentally friendly , it is essential that we carefully choose the materials with which we create our garments . This iswhy we take the time toselect collaborators whose work with fabric and materials corresponds to our environmental and ethical values, respecting both the planet and local know-how.

Fête Impériale x Angora de France label

Respect for the environment is very important to Fête Impériale, but sois animal welfare and local know-how . That'swhy we choose all our collaborators with the greatest care, especially when it comes to thematerials we use to create our clothes .Angora is a long, silky coat that can be found in many animals, but the French Angora is a long-haired Angora rabbit breed. This breed is relatively rare, and the French Angora is handpicked and carefully selected. This allows the hair to be collected in a way that is not harmful to the animal and respects local and expert craftsmanship. Find out more about the French Angora we use, how it is harvested and the respect foranimal welfare.

Silk satin

Satin is not actually a material, but a weaving technique. It is normally obtained with silk, but we can also find nylon satin, polyester, Cotton... But in the common imagination, satin isa fabric with a unique and very recognizable shiny appearance. Silk and silksatin arevery expensive fabrics to produce, because their creation is natural and very

long.At Fête Impériale, silk satin has quickly become one of the brand 's flagship fabrics , with our silk satin pieces naturally taking on the role of symbolic models for la maison. Our material is woven in Italy, using local know-how. The pieces are then manufactured in Paris. Find among our different collections or our archive pieces the iconic models in silksatin and discover the quality and brilliance of this weaving technique.

Our parts in Linen

Although silk satin and French angora are among the flagship materials of Fête Impériale, we also produce pieces in Linen . The Linen textile (or Linen canvas ) is made from the maceration of the stems of Linen , a Eurasian plant .France is Europe's leading grower of Linen textile. This natural fibre has the great advantage of acting as a thermal regulator - it insulates

in winter and allows you to breathe in summer. At Fête Impériale, we use it for dresses in Linen , shirts, or even jackets and tops. Our Linen isalso woven in Italy, using local craftsmanship and expertise. Our Linen pieces are then manufactured in France.
