A CLOTHING BRAND

 ECO-RESPONSIBLE

How can we dress more responsibly when the fashion sector emits 1.2 billion tons of greenhouse gases per year* (i.e. 2% of global emissions)? Production, transport... When we know that a pair of jeans can travel more than 60,000 km between the harvest of Cotton and the store, it reinforces the idea that it is time to rethink our ways of producing and consuming clothing.

Since our inception in 2015, Fête Impériale has made it a point of honour to develop an eco-responsible clothing brand, with environmental protection and awareness at the heart of our concerns. Production mainly

Ethical clothing production

What is an eco-responsible clothing brand that produces its clothes ethically? It' s a brand that is always on the lookout for new techniques and materials that are as eco-responsible as possible - atevery stage of creation and development. Fête Impériale is not green-washing: the brand advocates transparency and honesty in all its choices. The sustainable quality of our garments depends on the careful selection of our suppliers. The most important thing is to encourage and promote local know-how on a human scale, with respect for materials and aneco-responsible approach.

Choice of partners and production of clothes in short circuits

How to create an eco-friendly supply chain? For Fête Impériale, several criteria are essential .

- Prioritise short circuits. The majority of our suppliers, manufacturers and producers are based in France or in Europe, in order to reduce the number of

of our products, fabrics and clothing.

- Select partners carefully, based on their commitment to sustainable development. For example, our logistics partners, such as our transporters, are chosen according to their commitment to reducing their

carbon footprint.

A responsible commitment also means ethical working conditions

At Fête Impériale, we also attach importance to working conditions and respect for our teams, partners and subcontractors. We build relationships with our employees based on trust, fairness and equal opportunities.

An eco-responsible clothing brand involves constant constant reflection

Participating in the creation of sustainable fashion means constantly looking for new ideas, techniques and partners. Fête Impériale is constantly seeking to progress, to go even further in its ecological responsibility and environmental awareness. This is why all the members of our team are involved on a daily basis: firstly, in all the operational stages of the brand, but also in a collective reflection. Our goal? To develop each person's awareness and integrate the right reflexes.

Total eco-responsibility can never be taken for granted, which is why it is important toknow how to question and reinvent your brand and the way you workon a daily basis.

The use of noble materials for clothing responsible

The cheapest and easiest to find materials are often the ones that use the most water in their processing, and cost the most to the planet in terms of manufacturing. This is why at Fête Impériale we favour the choice of certain more noble materials, which require precise know-how, often accompanied by reasoned production.

Choice of local and responsible know-how

We scrupulously choose our collaborators. Our ecological and social commitment extends to the choice of our producers, as with the production of the Léontia waistcoat in ethical angora. We work with the Angora de France label, and produce this 100% natural fibre cardigan in very small quantities. This limited edition waistcoat is made following the hair fall cycle of the animal, and is then hand-knitted. It is these choices that give our garments a unique quality, and the assurance that they have been designed and manufactured under the best conditions from start to finish.

Our partners are selected primarily for their expertise and commitment. While the majority of our production takes place in France or Europe, we also choose workshops and suppliers for the quality and expertise of their know-how. For example, some of our pieces in noble materials are designed in Tunisia, in a workshop selected for its expertise, human-scale production and consistency with our values.

Collections in reasonable quantities

New ways of consuming are emerging, for a more sustainable fashion:

less waste, more recycling, less shopping... At Fête Impériale, we also believe in responsible and thoughtful consumption. That's why every collection we launch is made in reasonable quantities.

No overproduction = no overconsumption

These small productions not only allow us to focus on the craftsmanship and quality of our pieces, but also to avoid overstocking our products and overproduction of garments.

Each of our collections is therefore produced in small quantities. And to avoid any waste, all our archival pieces from our old collections are available on our website at reduced prices.
