The Bathers

Each season, Laura Gauthier Petit adapts her collection with inspiring contemporary women.

Seeing fashion as an opportunity to communicate a message, she calls on women who inspire her daily to bring the clothes she creates to life, thanks to these muses of today.

Ordinarily, the designer would have re-created a living tableau, mixing in the colours, textures and references that made the collection.

If confinement has had an effect on our habits, it has also brought with it a need for lightness, for bare essentials. A series of natural photos seemed more appropriate.

This is how the idea of a challenge in a bathroom was born. As a transitional place between home and public space, this space aptly embodies the representation of the inner and outer self.

So we called on the members of #FiGANG, and asked them to interpret the instagram v/s reality challenge by posing in their bathrooms, decked out in their finest pieces Fête Impériale.
