Le déjeuner sur l'herbe SS19

May 2019

Each season, Laura Gauthier Petit adapts her collection with inspirational personalities to bring the garments she creates to life, and thanks to these muses of today, communicate more about the profound identity of Fête Impériale, its origins, its values, its references.

For summer 2019, Laura has imagined a lunch on the grass, in reference to the most famous and most contested work of its time by the painter Edouard Manet. On this bucolic painting, a delicate touch of dreaminess reminds us of Lewis Caroll's work and, by extension, some of the works of photographer Tim Walker.

Two muses with very different profiles are invited to this country lunch. Chloé & Jenette, two young women who are pro-active on the networks and have opposite graphic universes, gathered for an afternoon in perfect osmosis with nature.
